We established our SALUTE Chapter in Spring 2019 in order to recognize the academic success among our Wildcat student Veterans. SALUTE's principle values, Service, Academics, Leadership, Unity, Tribute, and Excellence, align perfectly with the values of the Military & Veteran Services Office and the University of New Hampshire as a whole.
About
- First national academic honor society for student Veterans and active military
- Available to members attending 2-year or 4-year institutions
- Uses a 4-tier system to encourage members to strive to improve their GPAs
- Formed in 2009 by Colorado State University Veterans Office with funding from the American Council of Education and Wal-Mart Foundation

Requirements
- Qualify as military/Veteran student under NH RSA 21:50
- Current UNH student
- Completed sufficient coursework:
- 12 credits for undergrads
- 9 credits for graduate students
- Maintain highest ethical standards
- Maintain a high GPA:
- 3.0 or higher for undergrads
- 3.5 or higher for graduate students
